Great Cajun food, tasty, fresh and is still the same quality and flavor as over 12 years ago. A gem in Houma. A must-go place. Enjoy!!

Cajun Critters are now open. Located on Alma street by the Houma Golf Club. Place is roomy and nice atmosphere. I had the fried calamari for an appetizer and grilled redfish with a side salad. The calamari was served to me cold and not seasoned very well. Not a do over. The salad was a normal side salad but the dressing cup was in my salad itself. It should be on the side in a plate holding salad bowl. The grilled redfish was extraordinary. The chef really knows how to prepare it. The filet was big enough for two people. Just need to add more lemon to it for my taste. It was seasoned well. Kudos to the chef. Also I think they are still training the wait staff so I let a few things slide on that. I do plan on going back as a regular.

Finally reopened at their new address on alma and welcomed back as one of Houma best restaurant. Went re opening day and everything was just like the old days DELICIOUS. Missed this restaurant so much , great seafood and reasonable prices. The new place is nicely decorated with large windows for natural light. Had to get the gumbo and an oyster Poboy. Gumbo not to dark full of flavor, the oyster Poboy perfectly fried . One of my favorite batters and not overcooked on a soft Poboy bun. A must stop for visitors to the area.

By far the best crawfish from any restaurant in Houma! Even tried the Philly cheesesteak and it was good too I am a very big potato fan and they have my favorite fries.. shoestring We come very often! Never disappoints.

Seafood lovers should definitely check this spot out! The staff is extremely nice and informative! The overall vibe of this place is very down to earth! They have a live band playing weekly and a special on Chargrilled Oysters every Thurs!!

My wife and I had a lunch date here. My wife had the fried catfish platter with a unique twist on a bloody mary that they offer here. I had the half fried catfish half fried shrimp platter with grilled veggies. The food was delicious and the wait staff was attentive to our needs. It was our first time here, but it definitely won't be our last

Ordered a cheese burger and fry to go. Got home to a raw burger with no cheese. Update on this review; after speaking to the manager and the staff they were very accommodation and helpful. gave us a gift certificate for $25 which was more than the cost of the burger and fry! When we picked up the next meal the manager not only gave us a sincere apology but a free order of funnel cake fries! Which was amazing! Thanks for making it right, will be visiting again!
